After reaching my previous goal, I was faced with the decision to quit blogging or to start anew. Although I'm completely unfaithful to writing, I believe it's crucial for discovery. It challenges your intellect, creativity, and sensibility. I have a friend who is astounding at writing blogs. She encompasses the saying, "bringing words to life" I find it truly inspirational.
So this is my attempt to write about life and its mishaps and glories.
To keep this simple, I'll start with the title of the blog. The title is always the hardest part. You want to it to grab the readers attention, to reflect the content, and be catchy so when it becomes famous, people remember it.
Although I have no intentions of becoming famous (my spelling and grammar errors will never allow that to happen) I wanted a title that was short, sweet, and me.
Taffeta is defined as: A crisp, smooth, plain-woven fabric with a slight sheen, made of various fibers. This is what I want my blog to be: crisp in thought, smooth with words, a little transparent of all the fibers creating it. Plus I simply adore taffeta (just ask the brides whose weddings I've been in)
As for taste, this covers the rest. My blog will talk about food, fitness, traveling, and life in general. Taste can be applied to all the above and it sounds great with Taffeta. I'm not a complicated person.
Enjoy readers! Like what you want, hate what you want. It doesn't make a difference to me. Now if I can only figure out how to make my font black and not purple.....
